Aegis

I've always been reluctant about carrying my Dragon around with me because of its size. Recently I was looking for a bag on Amazon that I thought it would fit in and I happened to see an AD for this bag. It's a great product. My dragon and every other stick I have fits perfectly. Straps are comfortable, and there's plenty of room for tools, replacement buttons, ETC. Very well made, 10 out of 10 for me

This bag is just incredible with everything. I originally purchased it for attending events, but I very quickly realized that I'm going to be using it for basically everything. The compartments are convenient and perfectly sized to fit any arcade stick and laptop, the compartment in the front for chords is convenient and spacious. the bag is durable, and even has padding on the bottom so that if you put it on the ground, the items inside won't get damaged. The ONLY thing that I would recommend adding is a place for a keychain so that it can hold items that way as well.

With a joystick protector and padding, this bag is perfect for my recently-purchased Dragon. However, I find it important to note my concerns about the Dragon's features. The bottle pocket, front storage layer, and accessory pockets are small. As someone who carries headphones and a 40 oz. water bottle, I was a bit disappointed to find that I could fit neither in the bag's compartments. (I would think of fitting in wires or laptops at best.) Another complaint I had was the number of loose threads on this thing. Upon pulling the Aegis out of its bag, I immediately found 3 loose threads, each of which were about an inch long. It's a bit nit-picky but I had hoped that the product would have came a bit more polished, given how I could have purchase a roomier carry-on for the same price. It's a fine item, but when it comes down to it, I'd only recommend the bag if you are willing to pay the extra money for the brand name. (But hey, that's why you bought the Dragon, am I right? Haha.)

I had the Guardian for a long time, and it was my favorite backpack whether I was transporting a fight stick or not. It was massive, could carry a lot, while never feeling uncomfortable to carry due to how much surface space was resting on your back. The main issue I had with it was that it felt like a large floppy backpack that didn't protect the cable to my Hitbox (it has the cable just poking out, unprotected, pretty bad design flaw). I decided to pick up the Aegis, and while I like the aesthetic look of the Guardian more, the Aegis has kind of ruined my use of the Guardian for transporting fight sticks. The laptop pouch is incredibly useful, and I can still fit loads of stuff in my Aegis, with pouches to organize stuff a lot better. At one point, I had my Switch, Hitbox, PS4, laptop and all the necessary components for all of them (controllers, cables, etc.) in this backpack, and it never felt like I had to squeeze them in. On top of that, the backpack was heavy, but in no way uncomfortable (again, due to the large surface area resting on my back). On top of that, the extra padding on the Aegis made it even more comfortable than the Guardian was in the same scenario. I'd highly recommend the Aegis to anyone whether they transport fight sticks around often, or not at all. It's just super convenient to have a large backpack where you don't have to think "do I have room?". Fantastic product, and I'm sure this will be my new favorite backpack until Qanba releases a new one.
